I remember as a young girl that being 14 was the most awkward age, a time of so many changes, doubts, growth, and insecurities.

I met Alica when she was just this age. I heard her express the very things I once felt and had remembered from my own past.

I wrote this song for Alicia. She is beautiful, and continues to be. Now with baby Finix, she lives with passion and much love. I believe her life will bring good things her way and touch many in the process.
