A bit about Jeanne...
Jeanne is from Ventura, California. She moved to the Northwest in 1994 and though she wishes she never left the sun, the Northwest has been good to her. Through 1998 she began writing and singing, something she didn't have time for prior to moving to the Northwest.
While her guitar slept for years, quietly in her closet, she wondered if she would perform in the future someday, something she longed to do. Her life, changed drastically in 1998 and from then on, music became her healer, and her world.
Little did she realize how music would change her life, her fear of being on stage is slowly diminishing as the years progress. Today she still gets nervous, but the rush is much to much fun to give up trying, and after all, isn't it all about the music? The love of the music, the story, the picture it paints for the listener is almost touchable at times.
She can make you cry, she can make you smile, and she no doubt will touch you in some way with her songs and music. Her stories of her past life, dreams of the future, world peace (Honey on my Toast), and the pure joy of sharing the music is evident to the listener.
May her album, Garden of Life take you to her world of music, song, and her garden of life. Where did Garden of Life come from? This album is her Garden, her life shared in each song, something of the past, a dream of the future and a respect for what music can give to ones life and how it has the power to heal and give purpose. She no doubt had her ups and downs in life, but we all do. She just happens to share it openly with her listeners and her closest friend, her Guitar.
Jeanne is one of eight children, four brothers, three sisters. She remains close to all of them as they encourage her to share the thing she loves most in life.
Music and all the things music brings to ones life! If there is one thing she wants to do, while sharing her music and song, it is to create an emotion or picture for the listener. She believes song is a healer and a gift and we musicians are here to share it with everyone. What the world needs is a little song...
